Veterinary Assistants

Denise is a full-time veterinary assistant who started working at the Feline Medical Clinic in December of 1997. She cannot remember a time when she did not love cats and is happy to be able to work with them on a regular basis.
Denise especially enjoys taking care of the senior cats when they are staying in the clinic.
In her free time, Denise enjoys listening to music, watching Mariners games, and taking photos of cats.

Melissa began working at the Feline Medical Clinic in September of 1998. She is a full-time assistant.
Melissa enjoys caring for the patients and is taking courses online to become a licensed veterinary technician.
At home, Melissa has two cats: Mickey Joe and Harley, plus a dog.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her two sons, traveling, off-roading, and camping.

Michael, a full-time veterinary assistant, joined the Feline Medical Clinic team in July of 2002.
Michael owns 4 female cats. Domino was rescued from a very hot car, Jazz jumped on his shoulder at a pet store to claim him, C.C. was adopted from P.A.W.S., and Claire was a feral barn kitten when she was found.
Michael is glad he is able to contribute to the health and well-being of cats. He also feels privileged to work with educated, personable, and caring staff members.
Michael likes everything about ice hockey (the Boston Bruins in particular), golfing, cooking, and sampling fine beer and cheese. Michael most enjoys spending time with his wife Alecia, their cats, and their daughter Neely, who is the greatest joy in their lives.

Carol joined the Feline Medical Clinic in March of 2005; she's a full-time veterinary assistant. After graduating from the Apollo College Veterinary Assistant Program in September 2004, she worked at a local emergency animal hospital, caring for the medical needs of various animal species.
She enjoys focusing exclusively on the medical care of cats.
Carol lives with her three pampered cats (Ernie, Scooter, and Patches).
In her spare time, Carol enjoys gardening, camping, traveling, golfing and pet sitting.

Dennis is a full-time assistant who started working at the Feline Medical Clinic in August of 2006.
Dennis has always had an affinity for cats, and for animals in general.
At the clinic, Dennis enjoys the challenge of working with cats of all personalities.
Dennis has an thirteen year old DSH at home, named Shadow. In his free time, Dennis likes to go to the movies, play video games and watch sports.

Daisy began working at the Feline Medical Clinic as a part-time assistant in November of 2009. Before joining the clinic team, Daisy worked at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington as an Animal Care Technician.
Daisy has three cats at home. Emmy and Gloria are year-old females, Chance is a 3-month old male.
Daisy feels that getting to know the patients and the clients is one of the best parts about working at the clinic. She also likes having the opportunity to learn new things about cat behavior and treatments.
When not at the clinic, Daisy enjoys reading science fiction/fantasy books, spending time with her cats and emailing her family and friends in Hawaii.
