Facility Tour

Reception--Our reception area is your first stop when you bring your cat in for his/her appointment. We have a waiting area where you can pick up brochures and handouts on various health topics, browse through a magazine or check out our patient photo collection.
If you would like to submit a photo for our boards, feel free to drop it by our reception desk.

Exam Room--Your cat will be examined in one of our three exam rooms. The doctor will perform a complete physical exam. We encourage you to bring your cat in at least once a year (twice a year for cats over the age of 10) for us to assess your cat's overall health status. This gives us a chance to detect the early stages of any potential health problems. We believe preventative medicine is a hallmark of the best cat care.

Treatment Room--We perform dentals and other procedures in our treatment room. This room features cages in two sections. One side is reserved for cats having surgery, the other for cats who are ill and must spend time in the hospital recuperating. We also have an isolation ward for cats who may be contagious to other cats. This room is in a separate area of the clinic to prevent contamination.

Surgery Suite--We have a sterile surgery suite which is used for surgeries such as spays and exploratories. A separate surgery suite helps us protect your cat from the risk of post-surgical infection.

Laboratory--We have the capability to perform stool sample analysis, urinalysis, FELV & FIV testing, ear cytologies, and many more procedures. For most of the tests performed in-house, we have results available the same day. For blood work sent to our outside laboratory, we have results within 12 hours. Other samples sent out may take a few days to process.

X-ray Room--Our hospital is equipped with a 300ma x-ray machine. All of our radiographs (x-rays) are taken and developed in-house. The doctors will give you preliminary results at the time your cat is sent home. We send the x-rays to a board-certified veterinary radiologist for review to complete the x-ray interpretation.

Lodging--We have a small lodging (boarding) area which houses 8 cats maximum. Each cat is fed twice a day unless on a specified schedule. All cats are given the opportunity to walk around and spend some time outside of their cage. Your cat is provided with bedding, but you may bring your own if you prefer.
